Enrichment

Ballet class is done for the year.

2nd position?

And, that was enough for us.

In 2009, we are moving on to a tumbling class (on Saturdays so dad can take her sometimes too), and probably an art class during the week.

I will probably stick with my relaxation yoga class at the YMCA, at least until Rodney gets through another semester of chemistry (he’s working during the day, studying for Physician’s Assistant at night). He says he’s taking the summer off next year, which means I can sign up for weaving, which I have wanted to do (again) for about a hundred years now. Last time I had fun with a loom was way back in Wichita, Kansas, and that’s been TOO LONG.

What are you doing in the new year?

That photo is too cute. Look how long her hair has gotten!

I’m taking belly dancing. I’ve done the beginner’s class twice, which means I can move on to intermediate in January! That means we’ll be performing in the area, and I’m terrified a student will see me. I’m just going to tell myself that they’d think it’s cool :)

What a cutie pie she is in her tutu! Did she enjoy ballet?

Hm. I’ll be back from 17 months in Europe, just in time for the recession. I guess I’ll be looking for a job and selling my yarn stash! :-)

    Yay, you’re back!
The tutu is the cutest thing, I wish it were socially acceptable for Gracen to wear one every day. I supply him with princess dresses in his dress-up box, but it’s just not the same.
