Changes

:(

So, Rodney got laid off last week. We are all at various points on the five stages of grief, none of us doing them in the traditional order. Some days it sucks, other days it’s a fun challenge, but ultimately the odds of us being able to make it in our fields in this horrible Michigan economy are very slim. My key laments are giving up proximity to grandparents and a lot of good friends, our comfortable little house, and the Kalamazoo Promise.

Anybody want to hire an archivist (with a lot of general library skills), or a nuclear medicine technologist?

This is a very loose take on the Just One Button cardigan from Exercise Before Knitting. I used a larger gauge and didn’t have enough of this scavenged, custom dyed Briar Rose Fibers yarn to do sleeves. It is very dense and would probably be best as a warmup vest anyway.

A second one following the pattern more closely is in the works. Kiddo chose a dusty pink Patons worsted.
